B vitamins do have a role in the body’s defence against infectious organisms . Vitamin B6 helps produce new natural killer cells, helps process antibodies, and helps immune cells to communicate. But vitamins and supplements are not necessarily the best measures to prevent and treat COVID-19.
It is best to first take coronavirus-specific precautions, such as washing your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using a mask to cover your mouth and nose and practicing physical distancing or physical isolation to prevent getting and spreading the virus.
